Terms of use
Last updated: 31 mai 2026
These terms of use ("Terms") govern access to and use of the disheazy service. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these Terms without reservation.
1. Purpose
disheazy is an online service for sharing and discovering cooking recipes. The service offers: a bilingual (French/English) recipe library, personal tools (favourites, shopping lists, pantry), a guided cooking mode and a space for comments and reviews. The service is operated by disheazy — Grégory [NOM] (entrepreneur individuel).
2. User account
Registration is free and requires a valid email. You guarantee the accuracy of the information provided. You alone are responsible for keeping your password confidential and for activities carried out from your account. In case of suspicious use, contact us immediately at contact@disheazy.fr. Registration is open to persons aged 16 and over. Minors under 16 must obtain prior authorisation from their legal representatives.
3. Published content
Recipes made available are written by the site editor. They are provided for guidance only: you remain the sole judge of their suitability to your diet, allergies and medical constraints. By publishing a review, rating or comment, you grant disheazy a non-exclusive, worldwide, free licence to use, reproduce and display your content on the service. You warrant that this content does not infringe any third-party rights.
4. Community rules
Strictly prohibited: illegal, defamatory, hateful, sexual or violent content; harassment; disclosure of other users' personal data; spam and unauthorised commercial promotion. Reviews that breach these rules are removed without notice and their author may have their account suspended.
5. Service availability
The editor makes its best efforts to keep the service available 24/7 but offers no guarantee of continuity. Interruptions may occur for maintenance, updates or force majeure. The editor reserves the right to modify, suspend or discontinue all or part of the service at any time.
6. Limitation of liability
The service is provided "as is". The editor cannot be held liable for indirect damages, loss of data or any harm resulting from the use of the service. Recipes do not constitute nutritional or medical advice: consult a healthcare professional if in doubt. Cost-per-serving estimates, nutritional values and cooking times are indicative and may vary depending on the ingredients actually used.
7. Intellectual property
The entire service (recipe texts written by disheazy, graphic charter, source code, "disheazy" logo) is protected by copyright and remains the exclusive property of the editor. Any unauthorised reproduction, representation or reuse is prohibited. Data from external sources (Open Prices, StatCan) are made available under their respective licences (ODbL for Open Prices; Open Government Licence – Canada for StatCan). See the footer for full attribution.
8. Personal data
Personal data processing is governed by our Privacy Policy, accessible from the footer. Under GDPR (EU), Bill 25 (Quebec) and PIPEDA (Canada), you have rights over your data: access, rectification, erasure, portability, objection. See the Privacy Policy for the details.
9. Termination
You can delete your account at any time from your personal area. Deletion entails the immediate erasure of your personal data (email, profile, favourites, shopping lists, pantry). Reviews you posted may be retained in anonymised form to preserve the integrity of the community. The editor reserves the right to suspend or delete an account in case of serious breach of these Terms, after prior notice except in case of emergency.
10. Changes to the Terms
The editor may modify these Terms at any time. Users are notified by email of substantial changes. Continued use of the service after the new Terms take effect constitutes acceptance.
11. Applicable law and jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by French law. In case of dispute, after an attempt at amicable resolution, tribunaux français du ressort du siège de l'éditeur have jurisdiction. For consumer users residing in the European Union, the European Online Dispute Resolution platform is available: https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr/. For Canadian users, recourse to local authorities remains available.
